Getting your wall installed is very exciting and if you are like me, you want your block wall to stand out. Block wall caps are like the highlights to hair, it will add a new look to the overall design.  I am listing block wall caps you can use that homeowners and contractors love to use.

After seeing these block wall caps you will know exactly what to shop for to finish your block wall or even change your existing wall caps.

This post is all about the block wall caps every homeowner should know about.

Popular Block Wall Caps

1. Concrete Wall Caps

Concrete caps are made from the same material as concrete blocks and therefore will be similar in texture. Buy concrete caps that are wider than the block so that the caps stand out. Usually caps are bought in the same color as the block but I have seen tan blocks with gray caps, which gives the wall a modern look.

2. Precast Wall Caps

Precast caps are not made out of concrete and therefore will not be available in the same color as the block. Precast caps should over hang. Precast caps are available with a bullnose or square finish. A bonus to precast caps is that they are longer in length than blocks and therefore less caps will be needed and less joints to see.

3. Brick Wall Caps

Bricks are made primarily made of clay and come in a variety of bold colors. Bricks are a little over three inches in width and therefore, more bricks will be needed than using concrete or precast caps to cover a wall of same length. Also, more joints will be visible. Bricks are available in a rectangle shape and bullnose as well.
